What it’s all about:
The festival is a chance for the community to come together in a
creative way to enjoy a community-sourced movie night in Belvedere Community Park.
Filmmakers of all levels are invited to create short videos (3 minutes maximum) exploring what Community means to them. What story do YOU want to tell?
What do I need to know?
This is a family-friendly event for all ages.
Free Filmmaking Workshops all summer.
Free entry, live music, popcorn, hot chocolate & Home Made Soup!
Kick Off Party!
Join us at the Belvedere Tiburon Library
on Friday, June 12th at 5:00pm
to learn about the festival, the workshops and how
you can get involved.
Free wine and snacks will be provided.
Free Filmmaking Workshops
Saturdays 11am-1pm at the
Belvedere Tiburon Library
You don’t need experience, equipment, or a plan. Just show up. Every Saturday we gather, learn one filmmaking idea, and make a short film together — right there, on our phones. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, you’ll leave with something you made.
June 13, 20 & 27
July 11, 18 & 27
August 15 & 22
Sept 12 & 19
Each workshop has a theme and a creative constraint. Drop in for one or come back for them all — every session stands on its own, and returnees build on what they’ve learned.
These are All Ages workshops
Filmmaker Grants
Gretchen B. Kimball Filmmaker Grants
will be awarded to help fund projects
and facilitate workshops.
